Any now for something completely different

I'll take a brief break from the wedding photos to post some landscapes.  I shot these down in Laguna using a tripod Cherise got me a little while ago.

Your girlfriend and I need to be better friends.
I need her owing me favors like Gitzos...

lol

LOVE the second one, the third still appears to have
a hint of shake to it, weird. How long was the exposure
there?

Number 2 is complete magic, man. Etherial. Getting the shutter speed just right and timing the waves just right is actually WAY harder than it looks. Your shot is very unique even while so many people are learning to blur water hehe...

The sunset yesterday was pretty colorful, but I didnt' really make any good compositions. The lake has been shot to pieces at sunset, I'm afraid. So basically I have to spend a LOT more time there if I want to come up with some new ideas, hurrying down there 10 mins before sunset is not going to work much longer...

HOWEVER, after the sun goes down, the real fun begins for those who have tripods. Stay tuned for a post about "our" next workshop which will be along these lines, but for now it's on the DL.

I think I'm the only person who can't figure out Adobe RAW. I think this weekend I will shoot RAW + JPG and see how they compare. You are right about the desaturation, I think it looks that way too. And I can't figure out what kind of color cast I am getting.
